China Cultural Industry Association Seminar: 5G create new growth drivers

October 19, in the seminar organized by China Cultural Industry Association, a number of Chinese culture experts and entrepreneurs launched an in-depth discussion on “How can science and technology promote cultural industry?”. Themed with “Culture, Technology, New Industrial Growth Drivers”, the seminar is an important part of the Qingdao Multinationals Summit, which aims to promote the digitalization, informationization of cultural industry to increase its international competitiveness and global influence.  

“We should focus on technology and capital - two key elements of cultural industry development” said Zhang Bin, a member of the CPPCC and President of the China Cultural Industry Association. He also said that we should support the international of investment and financing for the cultural industry, promote the integration of financial, capital market innovation and cultural industry. In addition, we will improve the development of animation, games, creative design and other emerging cultural industries, vigorously cultivate new cultural formats based on big data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other new technologies, creating new growth drivers for the cultural industry.

When it comes to digital revolution, 5G is undoubtedly one of the most "promising" technologies that the public expected to renovate the cultural industry. Chairman of the board of China Animation Characters Company, LTD.,  Xiangsong Zhuang believes that 5G will become the catalyst for Cloud VR and 5 g + VR technology will bring people a better future. Cloud VR is a new industry which leaves much space for network, chips, terminals, and content to development. The future industrial chains need to work together to create a better future for 5G + VR.
