LG Display is a world-class display device manufacturer and the only such company with second to eighth generation panel factories. It produces TFT-LCD panels, OLED panels, and flexible panels of a variety of sizes for televisions, monitors, laptops, and smartphones.

LG Display (Yantai) Co was established in May 2010 with a registered capital of $150 million and $398 million in total investment, making it the largest South Korean enterprise in Yantai. It produces smartphone screen panels for LG, Apple, Sony, and Xiaomi.

In June 2020, LG Display (Yantai) Co was selected as one of the top 100 import enterprises in Shandong province.
