Posco (Yantai) Automotive Processing Center Co was established in March 2010 as a joint venture between Pohang Iron and Steel Co and Posco (China) Investment Co with a total investment of $39 million and a registered capital of $13.65 million.

The company mainly produces steel plates for automobiles and supplies for Dongyue automobiles. Its factory covers an area of 53,000 square meters, with a construction area of 45,000 square meters, and has 103 employees.
