Peter LAM Kin-ngok is the president of Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council  (HKTDC) was established in 1966. Under the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Ordinance, the HKTDC is the statutory body responsible for expanding global trade in the Hong Kong special administrative region, serving Hong Kong manufacturers, traders and service exporters. It has over 40 offices worldwide. The objective of the HKTDC is “to create new market opportunities for Hong Kong companies, particularly small and medium-size enterprises, to help them seize global business opportunities and to promote Hong Kong's international image as a good business environmental place.”
