Six roadshows caught people’s attention in Qingdao Multinationals Summit

On October 19 the Qingdao Multinationals Summit organized roadshows on culture, creativity and tourism. The six roadshows presented were strictly selected. Wang Shaojie, deputy group leader and office director of Shandong cultural and creative industry, said that Shandong is promoting high-quality development, accelerating the driving forces transformation, and focusing on expanding and strengthening the "top ten" advantageous industrial clusters, including cultural creativity and quality tourism. They will launch integrated culture-tourism development plans to vigorously promote the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture, building an international destination which allow tourists to experience Chinese culture.

For the cultural creative industry, it is clear that by 2022, the added value of the cultural creative industry of Shandong province will reach 600 billion yuan, accounting for about 6% of GDP. For the quality tourism industry, it is clear that by 2022, the annual reception of domestic and foreign tourists will exceed 1.1 billion, the total tourism consumption will exceed 1.5 trillion yuan, and the added value of tourism and entertainment industry will reach 800 billion yuan, accounting for 8% of GDP.
