2019 Forbes China Leadership Summit holding as one of a parallel panel of 2019 Qingdao Multinationals Summit, the chief editor of Forbes China, Russell Flannery explains the evaluation criteria of“2019 Forbes List of The Best Multinational leaders of Chinese Enterprises”.

According to this list, 50 ECOs on the list are less than 55 and from the perspective of industry structure, the age of listed companies is at a reasonable level. However, from the perspective of the distribution of headquarters of listed companies, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen ranked first. From the perspective of gender, the majority of the 50 CEOs are male, while the only one female is Mingzhu Dong, chairman of Gree. Notably, more than 20 of those on the list are chairmen of listed companies or group companies.
