On October 11, Qingdao held a press conference to announce the opening of the Qingdao Multinationals Summit on October 19. According to the press conference, the 2019 New Growth Drivers·Qingdao Fair will be held at the same time.

According to the introduction, this Fair is divided into two parts: exhibition and supporting activities. The exhibition section includes a theme exhibition area to show the development results, plans and major projects of new drivers, as well as the image of the city and the brand image of key enterprises. The five industrial exhibition areas will showcase intelligent manufacturing, intelligent living, new energy and new materials, marine industry and other emerging industries. New products, new technologies and development cooperation intention of multinationals and key enterprises inside and outside the province will be highlighted. The four special exhibition areas are display and trade area of scientific and technological achievements, Exhibition area for financial investment institutions, "hospitable Shandong" exhibition area and exhibition area for Shandong modern efficient agriculture.

It is known that the recruitment work has been fully completed. The Fair will open on October 19th. Industry exhibition area and four special exhibition areas have identified 261 participating enterprises, among which 131 are at the industry exhibition area, 42 are at the science and technology achievements exhibition area, 32 are at the efficient agriculture exhibition area, 40 are at the “Hospitable Shandong” exhibition area and 16 are at the finance exhibition area. 22 top 500 companies in the world and 14 top 500 companies in China will be found in the industry exhibition area. 46 Shandong enterprises have set up booths in the industry exhibition area independently.
