QINGDAO MULTINATIONALS SUMMIT | Updated:2019-10-30 11:02:13

The first Qingdao Multinationals Summit was held from October 19 to 20 in Qingdao. The success of this Summit further builds consensus on the cooperation and development of multinationals, provides new opportunities for Shandong to build a bridgehead for the opening up to the world, and writes a new chapter of mutually beneficial cooperation between China and multinationals.

The leaders of multinationals come from 35 countries (regions) and 115 Fortune 500 companies and 284 leading enterprises. Many leaders of multinationals suggested their expectation for more investment and cooperation with China as the Chinese market is growing rapidly and the business environment is improving.

Paula Motta, the vice president for Ineos Styrolution Group, thinks that the Summit bring companies together to have a chance to discuss new ideas, to discuss the future of the industry. In a very dynamic global markets that we are today, it is not easy to be ahead of the time alone but when they are together, they can do much better.
