In 1975, Nakamura joined the Japan Management Association and served as minister of industry revitalization, special director, and general director. He served as the Chairman in March 2017. Japan Management Association is a well-known economic organization in Japan, headquartered in Tokyo, with 1,350 corporate members. Major enterprises representing various industries in Japan such as Toyota, Nissan and Kyocera are all members of the Association. The main business of the association is to hold various professional exhibitions, ISO certification and various training programs.
