The first Qingdao Multinationals Summit was held from October 19 to 20. On October 20, on the press conference of "Qingdao Multinationals Summit and the 2019 New Growth Drivers·Qingdao Fair", executive director of the organizing committee, vice governor of Shandong province, Airong Ren presented that the attending multinationals leaders are from around the world of 35 countries (regions), the domestic 115 Fortune 500 and 284 domestic industries. More than 5100 guests have attended this Summit.

According to Mr. Ren, 261 enterprises participated in the Fair, and a group of famous enterprises from Germany, the United States, France, Japan and other countries and from China exhibited a number of advanced technology products such as pilotless automobile, smart home, robot products, new energy vehicles, VR, AR and 5G applications, which were welcomed by buyers and citizens.

As of 12 noon on October 20, nearly 38,000 people from more than 20 countries and regions have attended the Fair. A matchmaking fair for internationals projects promoted at the Summit and major projects of transformation of old and new driving forces are held on this Fair. A new generation of information technology, new energy, new materials, high-end chemical and other  120 key projects of old driving forces replacement in Shandong are introduced on this matchmaking fair. More than 400 of investment and financing institutions from more than 10 countries have conducted a series of "one to one" talks. During the Summit, all cities in Shandong, relying on the superior resources gathered by the Summit, carried out intensive activities of "Investment and Talent Attracting" and a number of high-quality cooperation projects were set up.
