The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Qingdao Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone has built a new platform for the “Belt and Road” international cooperation, and also opened up a vast space for Shandong to further open up.

Up to now, the demonstration area has gathered 13 logistics projects, with an output value of nearly 40 billion yuan, where it is making every effort to build an international logistics center. Among them, the multimodal transport center of the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone has successively launched the "Qilu" Eurasian train, the "Shanghai Express Line" and other 6 international trains.

From January to April this year, the multimodal transport center overcame the impact of the epidemic and completed 193,000 TEUs in container operations.

The epidemic has not blocked the pace of foreign exchange. Since April, the demonstration area has regularly held online meetings of representatives from various countries. In the first period, China, Russia and other 10 countries reached 38 cooperations in the areas of display of special products, import of green agricultural products, and cooperation in tourism and humanities.
